cleaning the outside of an acrylic tank

what can i use to clean an acrylic tank on the outside for water stains, salt creep, etc. one website said bleach and a cotton tee shirt,. i have a 100% rayon cloth for cars that promises not to scratch cars what about that? any ideas?

BLEACH? what's the link to that? I've never heard that...& I can't recommend using bleach, anywhere near the tank
Try a 'magic eraser' (original, unscented)

Novus.......the absolute only product I'd use on any acrylic.

i have the novus system ive used, but i also just use car wax on the outside and have been doing this since ive had this tank and did it on my other acrylic tanks

+1 and buy the whole line while your at it. Novus 1,2 & 3. Trust me they will come in handy. As Albano said magic erasers as well. I have been using them for over two years and love them. I use the magic erasers on the inside. Great for getting hard to get areas. Remember unscented and original.

+1 on the Novus, small bottles go a long way. I'd also add the micro mesh for inside the tank and deeper scratches on the outside as must haves for acrylic.

Regular car wax is fine use it all the time on glass and acrylic

every cleaner I've used makes the acrylic staticy and by the next day every piece of dust is sticking to it.....been using Corallife acrylic cleaner with a terry cloth....cleans water spots and salt creep with no static..
