Cleaning wet side mp40

So what's the easiest way to clean my wet side mp 40s? Is there a solution I can let them sit in over night and they are clean or is there elbow grease involved?

Soak it in some white vinegar overnight. Scrub and rinse in the morning and it will look brand new.

If u have more than one wetside, don't let them touch each other. Almost impossible to separate without damage.

i will do 50/50 vinegar (5% white + Ro/Di ) i think is more safe and work as well, if u forgot the pumps on (vinegar) for few days , u may damage the magnet (swallow).

The magnet is encased in plastic so no need to worry about that. Even if it was not the magnet would be fine even after a few days of soaking. I have soaked many magnetic drive pumps in 100% vinegar without issue.

No need to dilute. Using 100% vinegar is completely safe and more effective. Plus, if you have a spare bucket and space, you can reuse it for cleaning pumps ad nauseam.

He's talking about the magnet in the base of the wet side, not the impeller.
