I've had my pair of maroon clowns now for about 6 months and have spotted eggs for the first time. There is a small cave behind the anemone and the eggs are attached to the wall. It's pretty cool because when the anemone is completely open the eggs and cave are mostly hidden. I took these shots before the lights came on and the anemone was not fully expanded.

Anyway, thought I'd share the special event with all of you that have held my hand through the learning process.

Mike

Very nice!

I have a pair of A. Ocellaris, I have had the female over 8 years yet she has never laid eggs.

Congrats. That first pic is very nice (a pretty anemone certainly helps :P)

I got lucky with that pic... the glass wasn't clean ... no lights on.. it was morning (and I'm not a morning person) lol

I am so envious of that anemone! The color is lovely. 8)

Well thanks. It's my first anemone and I've had it for almost 2 years now. I ordered it with the simple description "purple long tentacle anemone" and it worked out great. :)
