Clown Fish

So 2 days ago i notice a sac of eggs in my Rock next to my colt coral where my clowns are always hanging around. We notice that the male was picking on them. My ? is, is it normal for the clowns to eat the eggs. Will they lay another stack of eggs? also notice that the female is a little sad hasn't eaten in 2 days is this normal? Please any info will help. thanks

My clowns did the same thing a couple times now they lay eggs hatch them and do it all over again they lay eggs every 10 days in my tank

No problem are you Going to try raising them when the time comes

They take turns tending to the eggs.
They look like they eat them but they are probably cleaning algae from them.
Unless the eggs are not viable and they may cull them.

Ok good luck don't get discouraged it's not the easiest thing but it can be done just make sure you have alot roti's on hand for the first few days and brine shrimp after about 5 days
