confused with magnesium math

i have a 10 gallon bucket of new water for a water change but the salt (IO reef crystals) only puts my mag at 1080 and i want to get it to 1300. i suck at math and cant figure out the right way to do the math so i dont put to much in lol. can anyone help me out.

Here this should help you out.
Put in 10 gallons for the water volume.
Put in current mag: 1080
Put in desired mag: 1300
Then what you are using to dose.
So if you are using ESV magnesium you need to dose 220ml
I use kent tech so if your using that you would need 118.9ml

ummmmm how did geometry or algebra class go for you did you pass lol jk... but if its possible can you write all the instructions or post a link on the instruction to further help you out.

You want to raise the magnesium in the ten gallons of water? If so what magnesium supplement are you using?

lol took me a couple try's don't want to talk about it. but thanks guys that helps i am using kent tech so akma basically answered my question appreciate it.

Hahahaha, I see I'm not so bad at math after all. Just remember do not raise mag in your tank by more then 100ppm in a 24 hour time period.

I still say, going slow is better then adding to much.......
