Connecting bulkheads

Trying to get an idea on how to connect pvc pipes to bulkheads? Do you use the two part cement, or should I use adhesive silicone, or is there a rubber boot that connects them?

Whoa!!!
well you can get threaded bulkheads.

Or slip bulkheads and you use PVC cement. First cleaner (purple stuff) and then cement and stick them together. Just remember that once you glue them, they are not coming apart!!

I have the threaded one, but it was previously set up where he had the pvc going in the bulkhead and he had it connected with adhesive silicone which I know is not good enough.

No silicone.. PVC glue or go with threaded...

And how can i connect the threaded with the same pvc that I have? Is there an adaptor that would connect them?

well if there is a threaded bulkhead you just get an adapter to go from threads to slip. Standard fitting at Home depot. You would want a male thread and female slip if you wanted to convert from thread to slip

Go with the threaded ones.

You can reuse them.
