Maybe I'm just not "most consumers" but I certainly know what is in the food and medication I eat and what it could potentially do to me and for me.

As was stated "Red Slime Remover" is an antibiotic, it works very well I have used it numerous times but a safer product is Chemi Clean which I personally have been using for over 20 years. I never had any bad reactions from it. It gets rid of cyano in a few days. It is basically an oxidizer like bleach. My corals never suffered and I never lost anything.
