I have about 4 power heads in my tank pushing a total of 3300 GPH, on one side of my tank the flow is really slow, hardly any actually. i have a Chili Pepper Monti and a hammer on that side, will the monti still grow in such a low flow area? are there any recommendations for corals that i can put on that side of my tank maybe any SPS? thanks guys.

I would consider changing the positioning of your powerheads, to get more random flow all over the tank. I have a "lower-flow" side as well, but when the vortech kicks up to full power it gets blasted pretty good, so LPS and SPS both stay happy on that side.

Play with your powerheads until you get good flow everywhere, that doesn't mean constant, but make sure that you have enough flow at some point to lift detritus into the water column.

The monti should grow if everything else in the tank in stable, but if the flow is too low it can allow sand and detritus to settle on it and cause dead spots, that can stress the cap.
