Do you clean it? Leave it? How much is too much? Will it have a negative effect on the function of the skimmer?

So we have some coralline in our skimmer body. It isn't thick.. but it is there. I dread taking it out to soak in vinegar and clean it, but I will mentally prepare and do it if need be.

Have lights to close to it... guard it from strong light. it will disappear in time.

There is no light where the skimmer is that portion of the fuge is dark. The coralline seems to grow more in the dark than in the light.. go figure.

I don't mind it there... I just don't know if it will have a negative effect on the performance of the skimmer, if so, I'll clean it up... if not.. it can remain. :) Just looking to see others opinions on to clean or not to clean. ;)
