ok everyone i didnt know that this forum had a tank thread like this, but i seen jims so i figured this is where you post a tank setup.

- 300 gallon marineland tank with starfire front glass.
- Custom sump/ with refgium.
- Bermuda aquatics skimmer.
- Geo calcium reactor.
- Profilux 3.
- 1hp chiller ( oceanic).
- Lighting (TBD).
- Marineland tradiational stand.
- Marineland traditional canopy.
- 400lbs of marco rock.
- 240 pounds of figi pink aragonite sand.
- Dart return pump.
- 2x mp40s.
- 3x 400watt heaters. Koralia

I look forward to watching the build. I see that you are going to use the marineland canopy? In that case I would recommend retrofitting t5's instead of going with 2 x 3 ft fixtures.

I am not sure if you can fit the fixtures inside of the canopy. Plus retrofitting will be MUCH cheaper.

might just go with regular mh now with atinics





I look forward to watching the build. I see that you are going to use the marineland canopy? In that case I would recommend retrofitting t5's instead of going with 2 x 3 ft fixtures.

I am not sure if you can fit the fixtures inside of the canopy. Plus retrofitting will be MUCH cheaper.

i think you will find that there is not enough room for MH. That deep dimension tank requires the MH to be elevated off the water quite a bit to get the spread u want. In the marineland canopy you will probably be better off with a t5 retrofit

might have my buddy build me a custom caopy then at that point to go few inches taller.
