Found this guy tonight as I was looking at the pod population in my sump. I think he's a baby starfish but not sure of the type.

He has like a yellow center mass with blue to clear tentacles coming off him. Crappy photo I know but I didn't want to knock him off his perch without getting a shot. Anyone know what it is?

I was thinking that too but the closer I look at it it just doesn't resemble any I've seen before. Also if it is, thankfully there is none in my DT (that I can see anyway). Not saying it's not but I want to make sure before I start going into damage control mode.

If they are moving, they could be small brittle stars which are okay

That's why I didn't think aiptasia. Because there is no stalk, they are on my chaeto not the rock. They don't receded when touched.

But I couldn't find a picture of baby brittle stars. Or anything else that they looked like truthfully. I would hate to remove them if they're not going to hurt anything in there
