I'm interested to hear people's preferences for where to cure live rock, in the aquarium itself or in a separate container. I've always cured mine in a separate container but am thinking to just use my new (empty) tank this time around. Any downside to using the tank to cure the rock?

I need a good on-line source for Fiji live rock. I'd like rock with a lot of coralline and other growth, no bare base rock. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

www.premiumaquatics.com has excellent rock.

Since it's a new tank, I'd just cure it in the tank itself. You'll need to siphon the detritus off the bottom of the tank in a couple of weeks, but that's easy enough and you normally do a large WC after a few weeks anyways.
