Curing rock?

I have a lot of dry Rock i know people cure it in tubs but can it be cured in the tank it would be easier so then I can lock them all together just how I want them and has anyone added bacteria to speed up the process this is my first time doing this

your rock needs to be colonized with bacteria, not cured as it is dead rock.
i would put the dry rock and some of your live rock in a tub with salt water, heater and circulation pump. add a table shrimp, when amo spikes remove shrimp. when amo drops to 0 you can add to tank. JMO
