custom tank help

hello all,

looking to get a custom tank built. If it goes well, i may even get a sump from them too. approx. 30x30x20 w/ built in overflow. I'm planning to fit it inside an unused doorframe of my house.


Does anyone know anybody that can do this, hopefully for a decent price as well.

If you can go up to 36" x 36" we have a stock Marineland tank reef ready tank. No need to go custom.

Thanks but as I have said before, I need it to fit in between a doorframe. A 36x36 won't do it's too big. Thanks for replying. Do you know of anyone that might be able to do this tank tho?

Does it need to be glass? . . Custom King builds nice acrylic tanks.

I'm not saying that it has to be.

Well I wrote to him (custom King) but he hasnt responded back to me.
Plus acrylic scratches too. Thats my only downside to it.

there's a member here kimoyo, who does excellent acrylic work.

Give the door frame size.
24" wide/30" wide/36" wide?
That helps people understand what they have to deal with.

You're welcome. We do have custom glass tank manufacturers we work very closely with. I MUCH prefer glass over acrylic for the one reason you mentioned, scratchability. My own personal 75g display is acrylic and it is scratched to the point of my disgust.
