Daisy has returned to Florida

The girls and I took two days to drive down here - we stop at the same hotel every time now - a Hampton Inn in Dunn, NC. Most comfortable beds and pillows and best breakfast on 95 in my humble opinion. The girls think of it as home away from home.

We did our obligatory shopping today. (Sara had no socks and both girls forgot their crocks!) and now that that's done, we can turn our attention to the beach tomorrow!!!!

tomorrow is DISNEY day!!!

As a surprise, my father just presented me with park-hopper passes for me and the girls. My parents ROCK!!!! so not only do I not have to pay for admission to get into the park, we can play at Disney and then eat at Epcot!!! SO YUMMY!!! (I know that Epcot has better food b/c we moved here when i was in 11th grade and i used to go to epcot/disney weekly....)

I'm also thinking that when the kids get tired of rides, we can go to epcot to do the imagination pavillion and world of the seas. FUN!!!

nope, he wasn't. that's a funny thing to wonder....

What a trip! We're back. pic of the most interesting thing that happened...

this was on the way home, at a rest stop in Maryland. guy comes up to me and the conversation goes like this:

him: "do you have cables?"
me: "you mean to jump your car?"
him: "yeah, basically"
me: "basically? um, yeah."
him: "okay. follow me."

so he walks and I drive after him. he walks and walks to the other side of the rest area, where there is parked... a bus.

it took about 20 minutes, but my yacht of a car charged that bus' batteries!!!!

I have to admit, I had SERIOUS doubts that it was a good idea. I could just imagine my car blowing all the way across the parking lot - of course, I could not imagine WHY it would do that - only that it might....

My daughters did keep asking me if this was a good idea... the thing was that the rational part of my brain could not think of a reason that it wasn't a good idea - i had the cables, so I should help. so i did.

Still, it freaked me out.
