There's a great article in the October issue of Natural History about the problems with deep sea fishing and how little we know about life in the deep oceans. I'll post a link when it comes out in pdf form on their website. Meanwhile, the article also included this interesting link about deep sea coral reefs that I thought might be of interest to some.
