Disaster strikes
Just the other day I had a disaster. I go into my equipment room and it raining salt water. The display is directly over my wet room. Holy **** Im shaking. I run back up and open the display tank lower cabinet to find both water inlets with rubber couplings and hose fittings gushing water. Im in complete shock! I try to stick my hand in and getting amps sent thru me like an electric chair. Holy **** what do I do? Every second Im losing water! My wife jumps into gear and shuts the main breakers down. With all the pumps down the water stops gushing out, so I have a minute to think. I run back down into my wet room into my draw of spare parts and find two new claps. I put them on and wow the leak stops. She then cleans up all the water and drys out the cabinet and floor. Next she turns on the power and I go down into my wet room to gather my thoughts. Im soaking wet of salt water. My 100g sump is almost dry, whew I had newly ixed fresh sea water ready to go so I pumped it into the sump and Im up and running once again. Now wounder my SPS are brown, too many issues.

Sorry to hear, great that it worked out and you didn't lose anything!
Plastic hose clamps are definitely the way to go as even stainless ones rust in time :(
