DIY Get together...please read

Post if you can attend during the day or the evening or either. 751 main ave in passaic, table saw, router, drill and dremel on hand.Dave please tell me you can make it on august the 9th (i need my skimmer!!!).we could take a look at how spykes made the little tunze style powerheads, practice drilling glass with a dremel and routing acrylic.if anyone has any skills they would like to share i.e. woodworking,electronics etc... please post, maybe we could plan this thing out finally and a few future ones.all we need is the people with the know-how to show up and the rest will follow. it's not hard to get there, take a half hour bus ride from the port authority and you're there, better yet if you have a friend with a car ask for a ride.i have room for 2 definitely in my car maybe up to four.

spykes is in to help us make the skimmer, anyone else want in to help us make something else....name your area of expertise.

i'll go. i need to learn how to make a sump out of acrylic. i also have a router if it helps.

o.k. change of plans.no more jersey due to issues with the in laws. i spoke to my super and he granted permission to use the basement.enough room and power, all we need right??i'm by the four line and the D line, by car right off the cross bronx expressway jerome ave. exit. post if you plan to attend.

well guys, i waited 'til the last day because i didn't want to cancel and find out it would've been possible. my wife and i have been having some problems with her parents (owners of the place in jersey where we were initially going to get together and the place where all my tools are).they've been holding on to my stuff and don't want to let us take any of it, knowing my temper i would rather not force anything to avoid problems. i should get my stuff soon, we're talking to some of their friends to try to mediate things, until then the get together will have to get postponed.i apologize to the people who wanted to come and to those of you that were willing to teach us a thing or two (dave & J).

silver lining- if we do it in time before school we still might get dave, aaron said he might make it if he's back from aus, mike should be back from vacation.
