do all the vendors take cash only?

Some/many take CC's, but not all, at least that's what I recall from years past. Also, if memory serves, there's an ATM (Chase or Citi, I *think*) down the hall from the actual swap room, but don't quote me on that.

It's also lower Manhattan...walk a block in any direction and you have a high probability of finding a bank/atm/discarded sack of $ that fell out some investment banker's window.

Most vendors will take either CC or PayPal and there are a number of banks in the area, so money shouldn't be a problem.

Your safer bringing cash , I believe there was a issue with credit or debit information before , besides that , ask yourself .......... Do I want a total stranger from out of state who I may not see again swiping my credit info through his iPhone reader??? Nothing beats the safety and discreet benefit of cash.

It's always been a rule of thumb at trade shows and other conventions ... Just a little info for your financial safety.

But you can't make claims using cash. Once the cash leaves your hands it's gone! At least with CC's you can get your money back for what ever reason- without having to meet up with the person that's a few states away.... JMO

This is true , but the frag swap is a live product venue , credit card or cash, you will get the same response if you have a reciept! And like the last frag swap where a few members had issues with a certain vendors clams ! , these issues had the same reply and despite different payment methods it was all resolved the same way.

Just pays to pay cash in some aspects of life is what I'm getting at , this is based on experiences I have had and seen in the past .

Yea, you definitely save more paying cash, most vendors won't tax you if you pay cash.
