Have you seen your Clown Gobie eat ? I have a Green and a Black in a Clownfish tank. I have yet (2 weeks) seen them eat or even attempt to go after any food ?
Are they destined to die or is this normal ?

They can be finicky eaters, mine was also. I agree with Andy, I used frozen blood worms to train my clown gobie to eat as well as mandarins. For some reason they go for it like using a different shade of lure when fishing. Now both fish eat just about any frozen i put in the tank that will fit in there mouths

I had a citron goby and he would not eat. I tried everything including live brine shrimp which makes most fish go wild (even though it is not that nutritious) but he just did not eat. He lasted about 6 weeks until he was skin and bones and then died. I have had other clown gobies and they eat just about anything. Maybe try placing him in a separate tank by himself.
