Do fish sleep with the moon lights on

after 8:30pm my moon lights come on and stay on to 6am they are pritty bright can they stay on will the fish sleep or do they need to go off so the tank is dark for the nighttime??:tongueani

how much time of total darkness do I need?

its up to u. fish will sleep once the main light is off. fish in oceans gets moonlight when sun is out so its not complete darkness. some fish r more active at nite.
i leave my moon light on until my mh turns on.
