Alpheus randalli. It's red and white striped, and the only partner, as far as I can tell, for the yasha shrimp goby Stonogobiops sp. (yasha). I can't find any place that carries it online.
The only place I've ever seen it online was on FFE (now bought out by Drs. Foster and Smith) and Tropicorium ( http://www.tropicorium.com ) in Romulus, MI when I walked in there about 2 months ago. You may also want to call up ORA Farms and see if they might have one: http://www.orafarm.com/
I would bet the farm that the yasha goby will pair with any of the pacific goby shrimp if that's the only shrimp in the tank. If you can't find a specific one, try what you can find.. think you'll be happy with the result.
ORA definitely doesn't, and tropicorium didn't either. NKT has one of these guys with a pistol that it ignores. This is why I want to get the correct pairing.
I don't know. Len said he's tried twice as well, with no luck. I've got (hopefully) a pair of the gobies coming on Monday, and a shrimp that looks very similar to Alpheus randalli. The site ( http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Dis ... pCatId=704) listed it as Alpheus sp., but the pic showed red and white stripes with a bit of yellow, similar to A. randalli ( http://homepage2.nifty.com/EBIZOU/EBIZUKAN/ebi53.html ). I'll let you all know what happens.
