At surviving if it can pull itself out of this mess. My condy opens up to about 8-10 inches when expanded. I woke up to only its foot left sticking out of this 1 1/4" CL intake this morning. This is one of two intakes for my sequence barracuda at 4400GPH. I am surprized it is even in tact as well as it is.

Could curvive - my purple-tipped anemone, looks like condylatris, did. It was sucked into the ~120 gph (I see your smile) HOB power filter strainer, had to remove from there, using toothpicks.
I have worse conditions for them, than you have (judging by color), and it took anemone almost a half-year to become old itself.

I just amazes me at how tough, yet sensative these creatures are. This morning it is 98% free of the pipe and its tentacles are inflated. It almost looks as nothing has ever happened. Now if it will just move so I can increase the flow in the tank again.

My condy died like that. I did not pull itself out. It croked.
