I really like my JBJ chiller, but I want to switch to a drop in model.

The only drop in that I can find is by current. It's on sale at Drs. F and S right now.

Does JBJ make a drop in?

Leslie, what makes you want to go to a drop in chiller? I have always been under the impression that they are not as effecient as inline chillers.

Btw, i think JBJ chillers are superb!

I do like my JBJ, but I need to start collecting equipment for my AIO tank. Just waiting to see Paul's in action before I make the jump :)

hey liz,
nano customs has a thing called an chiller that runs of your pump i think its called ICA 2.0. I would get it for my tank but right now its only a six gallon, its a 12 gallon tank min for the chiller. How big is your tank? HTH

i would say it is the opposite, with a indirect cooling unit (inline you need to cool the water then send it to your tank extra pump also ) with a direct cooling unit (drop in) as long as you have the proper flow thru your sump that cooling effect is happening at that instant. The problem with these units is you need the room by your sump due to the lenght limitations of the hose. ,mike
