Look fine to me. What's worrying you? Are they not taking food?

so far so good! 2 weeks hmmmmmmm

hate to say it but alot of times if something small is wrong with your tank that will kill an anenome it takes amonth tho show effects ( somthing small like low light) i know ppl will argue with this but im talking about borderline wrong a few wats of light off lets say

with anenomes its like this there either happy or dieing no inbetween

now please feed them every other day ( or more if they will take it and eat it all) with a small silverside or squid or somthing yummy that the other ppl who you live with wont want in the freezer ( or even the house)

With BTAs you might want to start off with some mysis (with the powerheads turned off). This is closer to their natural diet of zooplankton, as they don't tend to predate on fish as much as the carpet anemones, from what I've read.

You will, btw hear lots of contrary advice about feeding, which means there's more than one way of being successful. I feed mine infrequently and it's happy as larry. It is of course, not far under some 250W metal halides so don't take that to mean that's the best solution for you. In your case regular feeding with mysis is probably the best idea (it'll happy swallow a cube of frozen mysis). I wouldn't advise feeding it every day in a 50g, as you may start seeing water quality issues after a while.

I think you may be OK with your lighting, with a feeding regime of once every 2-3 days, but someone with experience of keeping them under PCs might want to chime in here...

i had my BTA under vho gave it to fried who had PC ( smaller tank and i think same wats per gallon.. and shallower also.. and he has sps and lps.. it died in a month under the pc and that was the only real difference between our tanks and how we carted for them ( actualy i did less waterchanges)

you should feed it alot and often but remmove uneaten food after it spits it back out

My LTA loves silversides.
You might try feeding it at different times of the day (or night) and see if that affects the feeding response.

 Whoops, so that'd be a reading comprehension problem on my part. Ignore what I said about mysis. My BTA looks a lot like this to be fair...

ok guys i was moving one some my lr around last night and accidently "up rooted" on of the anemones. and today i saw the anemone that was up rooted is now right next to the other anemone, should i leave it alone, or move it? will they sting each other? will they try n kill each other? they are both planted into the sand.

leave them
anenomes SPLIT and will stay next to eacother

so as long as the anenomes are of the same type they SHOULD be fine
