Dragons Breathe Algae Problems

At first it looked as if it was growing.
The tops began to turn that bright orange like color.
I looked today and the same tips turned a green and looks like it lost cohesion.
what to do?
i havent checked parameters yet. i'm thinking i might need more light.
I am using this as my fuge light

Has it been growing under the same lighting and flow? I have a 90 full of it and it grows in spurts under the same lighting and flow...possibly because of the available fluctuating nutriant levels.

It's a relatively new addition...It did appear to be growing though

Flex mike gave me some I been growing under a 60 w led bulb and clip on lamp from Home Depot got it in fuge little flow and on bottom and for me so far not as pretty as it is in mikes tank but the stuff is growing much faster then my cheto it seems !
But I had plenty nutrients avail for it

I just did a top off and it looks like my salt might have been low. I fixed the problem. I will keep u guys updated

Get rid of that light and get a clip on Home Depot reflector with a at least a 6500k bulb. My db is growing like crazy. I threw it on the fudge and it took off like a rocket ship. I was getting some red slime so I added a nano powerheads to get the tumble on the cheato and db.
