Drilling holes in 92 corner bracket

Does anyone think it's a bad idea to drill 2 small holes in the 92 corner corner brackets. I want to mount a power head and I made a bracket that would fit perfect under that area but drilling 2 holes with nylon screws would be the perfect way to mount it.

Do you mean drilling the GLASS? Or the Plastic on the overflow? I'm not sure what you mean.

I don't see issue. There is no support webbing.
On my old 54 corner I used to run a suction cup powerhead on the underside of each corner.

I have a 54 drilled (it came that way so that the person could feed fish without lifting the cover/lights)

it's okay if you go small but if you go bit it can crack.

The overflow isn't a support so you can drill it.They make the tanks non RR that nave no overflow and it makes no difference.

Ahhh I forgot about those little pieces. I don't think that's for support more for keeping the lid a sturdier un-pointed shape.

That's it. I already drilled and mounted my extra power head there. If my tank falls apart I will just blame trigger lmao
