I feed with dry foods mainly because I'm not home often and I rely on an automatic feeder.
The problem is, my fish won't touch the food once it hits the sand, and quite often most of the food sinks before my fish even get to it. Can anyone recommend a dry food that stays suspended in the water column, not just at the surface, or at least sinks slowly?
Any other recommendations to help me get my fish to waste less of their food?

I also use Spectrum pellets, which some pellets will sink right away to the bottom while others will sink more slowly. You may want to try flake food, as that will tend to float around more at the top. Another thing you can try is to have the food fall in front of a power head, as this will shot the food around the tank and cause the pellets to not sink as fast to the bottom of the tank.
