Ecotech Radion Question

Would one EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w Gen3 fixture with the wide angle lens be enough light in a standard 40 breeder to grow SPS throughout the tank? I want to be able to have healthy frags in racks on the side walls when necessary.

I dont have one of the lights, but from what i know about it, the wide angle are supposed to make those lights cover about 36x36 which would be fine over a 40b

you should be fine. i used two over my 80g with the wall, so 1 should be enough for your 40.

You should be fine but you could also run 2 xr15 pros. I have 2 over my 57 and get good coverage.

one would cover the tank but if you are going for the full blown sps look its not gunna work as well as you think, there will be shaded areas away from the light and any part of the acros not facing the light will be pale or dead on the dark side
