Egg Crate Creations

I know MR hosts a bunch of creative minds and was wondering other than for frag racks, filter sock holders and flying fish prevention, what other uses have you found with egg crates?

I have some left over egg crate and want to utilize it for something in the hobby.

I put pickling lime in my top-off container so I put the pump on a piece of eggcrate to keep it from sucking up any of the gunk that builds up on the bottom.

Thats a good idea.

I friend of mine also uses egg crates as a bracket for the maxijet.

Keep them coming.

Rock wall and foam. I foamed toether the rock in the middle.

I made the little frag holder on the right with EC and some magnets.

I use egg crate in my nano's fuge to hold the cheato ball. With out it, the algae was being sucked into the return.

The stuff sure is great and easy to work with!
