Eheim 1262 vs Eheim compact 5000

Would like to know if anybody has either one and opinion on them. Mag 950 is great but hearing stories about them rusting. Starting to worry if my going to rust soon.

I can speak for the eheim 1262 its a great pump very low noise n overall great pump cant go wrong with it

1262 all day, the compact is not really as strong even though it says so on paper. Also the compact is not really an Ehiem pump, just sold under the name. Look at the head height, the 1262 out pumps the compact and uses a few more watts of power. That usually translates to more flow.

+1 .. I have it on my 100 rimless as tony said low noise and deff less heat as well.
