I don't know about that (but its certainly possible.) - I'm thinking a tad less insipidly that someone is using RDO for commercial purposes.. - After all, like I posted in that thread, thats an awfully extensive list (including prices) for a hobbyist (on their first post here..) to be gathering other locals for a "powerbuy".... :?

Good luck to him - he's gonna find out that it's not as easy as all that

Personally I'd be leery of somebody whose first post wanted to sell me something unrealistically cheap.

Guess we'll see how it turns out, or if the Mods judge the post to be commercial.

Yeah - maybe he's got his import licence, but does he have a customs broker? Who's gonna clear that lot in Orlando? Adding $4 per for freight etc, he's certainly not going to make much money on all that

Hope his junk doesn't get hung up in customs, or whatnot....

$4 "shipping" per... that's going to barely cover the cost of air freight from Indo, customs clearance, brokerage fee... yadda yadda...

But not very commercially viable post as the frieght and landed costs omission made it non sensical.
Its just a kid who got a hold of a FOB price list and in his excitment to be a player, broadcast it to the world...unaware of how much more was really involved besides getting giddy over the initial cost responsibility.
Frieght cost more then coral...and then the charges continue to mount.

And even though it may not have been commercially viable for that person, its still using RDO's resources in an improper way.

Not that I don't know what its like as a hobbyist, being stuck somewhere where theres either no LFS, no decent LFS, or an LFS thats too big for its britches and really doesn't work with you on a personal level.
