electric bill run?

fallenlordz.. Do you mind elaborating on how is that your bill is so low. It might help some of us members.

I make sure to buy all low wattage products :tongue1:

Keep my rooms real dark during the summer months.
Each salt water tank has a custom computer 120mm fan blowing directly at it, and my 55g has a chiller just in case (corals only get the best LOL)
Using only T5 and LED also helps the bill.

Con-ed Bill was actually $149.14 hehehe.
July = highest bill out of the year.

Had to run my 2 window A/C units whenever it got to hot for me in my place.
I think running my 3 computers, 50" plasma screen HDTV, and home theater system made my con-ed bill more than it should be.

Guess I cant complain - after seeing everybody else's electric bill. :birthday:

What square footage is your house/apartment? How many people do you have living in it?

If you want to save on the electric bill switch over from incadescent bulbs to power compacts. This will also lower the a/c load which in turn saves you money on the electric bill. Keeping blinds closed in the day during the summer will help a great deal as well.

I believe there was talk about LIPA hitting residents with a bill because of all the Hurricane Earl Prep.

My electric is out of the question lol... in summer by "big bill" relative to all of you guys was $100...

My place is roughly 750 square feet and I run 2 reef tanks lol (which basically make the bill).
