Has anyone done any test to verify that the electronic MH ballast does infact burn the lamps brighter, cooler and more effeciently by using less current? These ballasts are awfully expensive and I dont care about the humming or the heat of the ballast because I will be mounting it away from the tank. So can someone shed some light on this for me please.
