Enabled Thunderstorm mode with the AL while there is a thunderstorm outside

Funny story , when that feature was made by the people at c2 I thought it was amazing!!!
I forgot that the majority of our fish are tank raised and that they never see lightning so while the unit was set at random thunderstorms , I was startled at 5 in the morning by heavy flashing in my hallway and I raced out and noticed it was just the tank and all my fish were head first in the gravel as if stunned or in shock !!!!!! Careful with that feature!!!!

I think my fish were scared. I don't keep it on, I just did it today, the people in the house got freaked out..lol..They though my lights broke.

i have a 50% chance of a thunderstorm everyday never had a problem with fish but when someone is over it is cool to here whats wrong with your tank oh nothing its a lightning storm they are amazed

When I was down in Miami there was a shop that had it hooked up to a surround sound systems and it was amazing was not Ai lights but still was Kool as sh*t . I would love to do that .

Honestly I think this feature is for us not the inhabitants. When I tried this function over a year ago I scared the living sh*t out of my fish. Guys in the wild they can dart down or up without a problem in our tanks how far can they go......ahh not very(without slamming into sandbed, glass, or out of the tank; or in my case egg crate). I will never use that mode again. Just my experience with it.

Interesting enough, my two watchman gobies, came out of the burrow and were swimming midway in the water, staring at the flashing lights, all the other fishs disappeared.

Wait a sec how do u hook it up to sound , I know it's a Lil overboard but I have my surround setup right next to my tank right next to apex hmmmm....?????
