I'm thinking of adding a Encrusting Gorgonian
to my tank and I'd like to get some opinions.

Are they hardy or fragile?
Are they difficult to care for?
What special conditions do they require if any?
High light/low light?
High current/Low current?
Good or bad for a beginner?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Depends on your experience with photo gorgs. They are one of the easier ones.

Not at all.

Appreciate being fed, high light, and good flow.

Again, depends on your tank and experience. All in all they are very hardy.

This is a very easy coral to care for. Give it light, give it current, and it will spread fast. Actually, be warned, thi coral can grow really fast and take over a tank. It will literally grow up anything, live corals, walls, pumps. I once had some kill a pump by growing over the intakes. Keep it trimmed back with a razor blade and you will be fine.
