ever run 2 sea swirls on 1 pump?

Thought I might use 2 sea swirls on my 150xh, with a single Iwaki MD70RLT (1470gph at 5 ft head) for circulation and filtering (a second pump for my skimmer would be used). Will this work or will 1 sea swirl become dominant?

Alternative #1:
Could I get away with a single sea swirl (they're expensive) with the same pump?

Alternative #2:
2 Iwaki WMD30RLXT (900 gph each at 5 ft head)
(pumpwise, this is cheaper than the single 70RLT option)(Plus a 3rd pump for the skimmer, of course)

I run two 1/2 inch sea swirls on one pump via a closed loop. I use gate valves so I can control how much flow goes to each one but I run them pretty evenly.

I'm running two 3/4" sea swirls on a Iwaki MD70RLT. Works great.
