All of our clams come directly from ORA (Oceans, Reefs, & Aquariums). They have a Mariculture facility in the Marshall Islands, where they grow and farm several species of Giant Tridacna Clams! Check them out HERE!
All of our listed clams are 100% WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Meaning there are no stock photos or sample pictures. The clam in the product photo, is the exact same clam you will receive in your order!
With over 80+ unique, WYSIWYG Clams in stock narrowing down your favorite one can be difficult! Especially when deciding on what species of Clam is best for your tank. Maxima and Crocea Clams do best in your rock work at the top of your tank. Derasa and Hippopus should be kept in the sand bed.
Its been almost a full year since the last time we were able to off the fan favorite Crocea Clam! Glad to have them back in stock! This is also the first time we've ever offered Hippopus Clams! This species of Tridacna clam is similar to Derasa in terms of placement and care, but has its own unique shape and color!
