Even up - it is only about a month old. I am getting too much flow from the powerhead and it is kicking up all my sand. If you feel guilty, you can throw in a small, colorful frag to make the trade even but not required. PM me and LMK - thx.

I wish i had the too much flow issue. i have about 16000gph of flow in my tank and it's still too little. I sold my two votechs and bought 1 6201 plus order 2 6205's plus i have a reef dart on a closed loop and a hammerhead as a return and my SPS want more.

I have two 6065's in my 90 and had to lower those babies to lessen the turbulence.

Is there a way to lessen the flow on those puppies?

I just place them lower in the tank and point them up at at 30 degree angle or what angle suits you.I got it to stop blowing my sand around by doing that Eric.

Cut The End Nozzle Off, It Will Lower Flow As Well As Make It Alot Wider Of A Flow, What I Did With My 6025 Well Plus The Other Mod To Get More Flow, I Have A Modded 6025 And A 6045 In My 60g Cube And It Isnt Enough

I am using the 6045 with the Nano rock and I have it in the lower corner pointing up - the problem isn't the outflow, it's the water being drawn in from the back that is kicking up all my sand.

Move The Rock Up Off The Sand

Did that first - because it is in a corner it still causes an updraft as it sucks in the water.
