I have had a pair of these little guys since I started my tank. They were juvinile when I got them and are now what I would consider a mated pair. One smaller and one larger more dominant fatty big eater. They use to sleep in this one corner of my tank together every night and hang out all the time. At one point I thought they were going to mate, but I don't think the conditions were just right for that.

Anyway, I have noticed over the past couple days they are sleeping on opposite ends of the tank. Literally! What's going on? Anyone ever see this? They both seem pretty normal in behavior. I really like these two and hope all is well. Thanks.

Clown pairs are known to "split up".Watch out for aggression, the female may decide she doesnt want him around anymore instead of ignoring him like she is now.

I don't see any aggression at least yet. They hang out during the day though. I noticed that if I leave on my lunars they separate, but when I put them back on they get together. I understand they may be scared and protecting, but seems kind of wierd how when they feel safe they separate at night now.
