I recently found what looks to be a white somewhat translucent looking mushroom on my live rock. It has a slight pink around the circumference. I would say it is an anemone, but it has no tentacles, and has not moved toward brighter light. It is too pudgy to be a mushroom, and it doesn't expand a great deal. Can anyone help?

Thanks Dave. I don't have a pic because; A. I don't have a digital camera, B. I't would be really tough to get a pick of it. I don't think it is a sponge because I have several. It has a smooth texture and radial symmetry. I have taken a closer look, and it looks like an anemone without tentacles.

Impossible to say without a pic but I would say it's most likely a sponge.
