Feed Tangs Macro

Does anybody feed their tangs macro algae? I feel like they don't always finish off the seaweed plus I suspect whatever doesn't get eaten floats somewhere and rots.

i would be concerned if some of the macro floated away and started growing instead of rotting.

Edd: that would just be free food for the tangs (at some point they'll eat it).

Ulva from my refugium is a big hit with my tangs. Pretty sure they prefer it over the dried stuff. Then again who wouldn't...it's fresh from the fuge, not a freeze dried ziplock bag. lol I can hand feed the blonde naso...he takes it right from my fingers as gentle as a puppy.

PS - what Rookie said. If it floats off, the tangs will find it and demolish it before it has a chance to do much of anything.

Thanks, now I have to find a way to get this stuff to grow faster. The clip for the seaweed smells so bad even though I clean it. I'm already rinsing the gel or whatever binds the mysis shrimp together, so the seaweed has been counter productive.
