First SW set up - 65 gallon

Hi All,

I have a 55 gallon fw setup and now I'm finally getting my first SW set up. Looking to do a FOWL first then move to reef. Purchased a 65 gallon, stand, pumps, sumps from a member here.

First thing to do is find a good spot for it, set up the plumbing with some new pvc, and stup sump.
He have me two pumps i can use for a return pump. A triton deept blue max flow 850 GPH and a boyu at 660 GPH.
Any reccomendations as to which one i should use as a return pump?

Also with the sump, do i need anything else in there?

You will need a reservoir for top off. A 10G tank or a 5G bucket with cover is fine too.

question with the plumbing... connecting overflow to sump.
i can use us reg pvc, some elbows, ball valve, and some pvc primer/glue right?

i keep reading about refugiums and not sure i need one.
the set up to start is just a fowlr tank.

think i should do two separate tanks... ref and sump?
