Where is the cheapest place to order frozen food on-line? I am so tired of paying the local fish store top dollar.
Your recommendations are appreciated.
You could always make your own food. Just go to the super market or a fish market and you can get some shrimp, scallops, krill, pretty much anything you just want to stay away from foods with lots of fat like salmon. After you get your food just blend it with a little water and garlic. Then freeze and when it comes time to feed thaw out some of it and feed.
I order mine here. Can't say I have found the shipping to be overly high priced. The only way to get this stuff is overnight when you buy fresh (frozen) food.
The quality is also excellent, no waste, not paying to ship the frozen water the food is mixed in inside of the little cubes..just total weight of actual food.
btw..when I get the big blocks of the E. Pacifica (Mysis), I slightly defrost it, cut it into 1/4" thick slabs and put it in plastic gallon sized freezer bags, and then pop it back in the freezer (as long as there are remaining ice crystals, you can refreeze it without harming it). The Cyclopeeze is a little tougher as it turns to mush (and threrfore no ice crystals) if you thaw it as all, so I just smash that into little pieces and get it into the freezer asap.
