Fish Only remove LR

I want to convert my FOWLR to Fish only. Can I remove all my LR?

I ran mine successfully for over a year before I added LR (I think I had 3 pounds in a 20g tank for aesthetics only). You just have to keep up with water changes.

what size/ how many fish?
Size of tank?
What do you have for filtration?

What would you use as a biological filter?
You need to convert your sump or add if you are currently sumpless, a wet/dry filter with bio balls to colonize a bacteria bed before you remove all the live rock.

The sudden loss of lr would affect the system.
You could place it in your sump to minimize the impact. If you move it slowly you may reduce the affect of a possible cycle.

I have about 9 fishes in my 90 gallon tank.
I have a sump with cheatos, about 10 pounds of rock and a protein skimmer in it.

If you do decide to remove the live rock, you must do so slowly! So that the good bacteria that filters your tank will have a chance to populate in other areas of your system.
Can you fit the rocks in your sump?

Why do you want to remove the lr anyway?

dont forget some fish need LR to feel at home. they may fights depending on what fish you have.
