There are African Flamebacks and Brazilian Flamebacks. The ones bridge is talking about are African. You don't see the Brazilians too often.

I have researched that brazilians are not as aggressive as africans. I am totally into less aggressive fish. thanks @cmantis

maybe i will have to settle with an african. Do people have any experience with them and a very shy purple firefish? I know my clowns can handle it but maybe not my firefish and some corals

My african is a very active fish and while he leaves my existing fish alone is a bully to any new fish. Think he learned that from my tang though. While I haven't seen him eat any corals they are prone to it and I have lost some but cant say it was him. They do pick all day at the rock.
