Fleece rollers

Hey just looking for some info on fleece rollers. I keep seeing an ad for this nano fleece roller just wondering how long the rolls last? And I see there's a sensor so the unit starts to change the fleece. Does it like monitor light or something how does that work?

Looks like optical sensor that advance has the role. They are not all the same. Some are program to advanced by time some have a float switch , some have an optical sensor like this one.

Gotcha is one method better then the other? Really im trying to figure if im gunna go through a roll a week or like every month. I can see the refills like being annoying to get and somewhat pricy if the machine goes through it quickly. I guess it depends on how dirty the tank actually is?
