For those who have a BubbleMaster, DO NOT drill the hole on the intake on the top airfilter. I thought it was silly to have a small hole there...WRONG.

You can see how the skimmer is affected by taking the air tube out and letting it run without the airfilter. Foam builds in the lower chamber under the anit-turbulence plate.

Too much air into the pump decreases the pump's ability to pump water. Its strange.

Not strange. That is what happens when you get to much air in a water pump.

Youll know what I am talking about when you buy one. lol.

I am still unsure about the performance overall after what I did to it. Less water might lead to less turbulence, but less water skimmed....? maybe?
