When serving frozen foods ,,,,,

do you pour the thawed liquid through a net/sieve down the sink

OR

do you you serve the thawed liquid with the now thawed food into you tank?

A worker at a LFS once told me that the thawed liquid has lots of bad stuff in it that shouldn't go in your tank. Isn't that what the skimmer is for?

A lot of people would suggest rinsing in RO water even because the liquid usually has a lot of phosphates. Sure, a skimmer might remove some, but you'll probably end up with a lot still in your tank to grow algae.

I feed Mysis, frozen krill, cyclopeez and nutrimar Ova.
I thaw in tank water and discard as much of the packaged fluid as possible. That juice doesn't have a benefit to the fish and there are better things to feed corals.
