Like the title says I have a large 4-5" gsmaroon clown paired with a 2-3" one have a pic of the large one the smaller one you can see hiding behind the live rock both very healthy and fat (they eat everything)they eat out of the palm of my hand. I payed big money for them ($175) cause of their size. I bought at my lfs who had them in his tank at home for about 4 yrs. Great fish(both of them) im just looking to get a more passive tank. I have a gold rim tang and 2 sand gobbies in my tank now along with them. They were the first fish in my tank had them over a year and a half. Great fish and I really hate to see them go. I really want to make sure the go to a large enough and stable enough home for them.

Yeah thats what female maroon clowns will do they will rearrange the sandbed. But it doesnt necessary mean anything its just part of their behavior. Good luck with the sale.

I would take them for my 55G reef tank. They'd be with an 8 line wrasse and a striped damsel. I wouldn't add anymore fish to that tank besides them. My tank's about 6 months old and it's pretty stable. Let me know and we can make arrangements for pick-up. Thanks.

Any thoughts about them in a 55G? I can probably move the other two fish into my 29G QT tank and have the maroons be in the 55 by themselves. I will take them if you think my tank is big enough for them.
